Our new release is here, and we're delighted to give you a sneak peek at all the exciting upcoming features! 

Spoiler alert: those who deal extensively with document content are in for a real treat. We guarantee you'll find your work becoming significantly faster and more simplified.

Office document preview

With this release, one of your most frequently requested features has become a reality–Architrave now displays previews of the following Office documents:

• Word (.doc, .docx)
• Excel (.xls, .xlsx)
• PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)
• Text files (.txt)

With the Office preview, you no longer need to download documents or grant users the corresponding document permissions, which boosts security and further simplifies processes.

Please note: Due to the complexity of Excel documents, the preview is limited to the file's first page.

Upgraded document viewer

For many users, the document viewer is THE central working tool in Architrave. So, we’ve upgraded the design so it’s as fast, simple, and intuitive as possible. Here’s what’s new:

• Full-screen mode: Use the entire screen for a more focused document viewing experience.
• Dark mode: Easily switch into dark mode—a more comfortable way for many to read documents.
• Improved scrolling: Scroll through pages faster and more smoothly.
• More file info: The file type icon is now visible.
• Simple navigation: Menu controls are conveniently located above the document.

Product update notifications

To streamline communication, all Architrave users will be notified of any new updates via the user menu or a red dot next to their initials (listed under “New Releases”). 

As an admin, this means one less task on your to-do list!
